The Village Shoppes sits on the northwest corner of Southern Boulevard and North State Road 7. The center's leasing material describes it by its errand tenants: Burlington, Planet Fitness, Tires Plus and a USPS post office. That description is out of date. Over 2026, one food tenant after another opened in the same plaza at 10101 Southern Blvd. You can now get a bagel there in the morning and a burrito bowl at dinner without leaving the parking lot.
Royal Palm Beach's other dining changes this year were spread across the village and moved slowly. One Italian restaurant opened on Okeechobee Boulevard, a breakfast chain closed down the road on Southern, and a second Italian restaurant is still in the permit stage on State Road 7. The Village Shoppes changed faster than any of them, and the new tenants filled in different times of day.
The Day, Suite by Suite
Here is the plaza's food lineup arranged by time of day, as of October 1, 2026.
| Time of day | Where | Suite | What the sources confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Morning | Einstein Bros. Bagels | Suite 200 | Bagels, egg sandwiches, lunch deli items; opening offer ran June 8 to July 6, 2026 |
| Morning into lunch | Frannie's Restaurant | 10121 Southern Blvd. | Diner breakfast and lunch menu |
| All day | El Bodegón #7 | Village Shoppes | Latin grocery with bakery and in-store restaurant, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. |
| Lunch and dinner | Guaca Go | Unit 190 | Fresh-Mex bowls, burritos, salads, daily 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. |
| Lunch and dinner | Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen | Suite 11 | Opened with a village ribbon-cutting, reported February 2026 |
| Coming around early December | Natural Blends Nutrition Cafe | Suite 180 | Smoothies, juices, acai bowls, sandwiches |
Before 2026, the plaza's food choices were Frannie's and El Bodegón. Three restaurants opened this year and a fourth is scheduled.
Morning Starts With Two Very Different Kitchens
Einstein Bros. Bagels opened in Suite 200 around early June. The chain's announcement for the Royal Palm Beach store listed an opening offer valid from June 8 to July 6, 2026. The menu covers bagels and egg sandwiches in the morning and deli items at lunch. The village recorded the store's restaurant business tax receipt on June 18.
Frannie's Restaurant has been around much longer. Its own site calls it a 47-year Palm Beach County institution. Those 47 years belong to the business, not to this plaza. A 2012 Town-Crier story placed Frannie's at 251 Royal Palm Beach Blvd., serving country-style breakfast and lunch. Its current ordering page lists 10121 Southern Blvd. The menu is still breakfast and lunch: egg platters, omelets, pancakes, French toast, burgers, wraps and sandwiches. Frannie's doesn't post current hours on its site, so call ahead before planning a late lunch.
The two places split the morning. Einstein Bros. is a chain counter for a fast order. Frannie's is a sit-down diner with a long local history and pancakes on the menu.
Their pairing matters more because of a closure along the same road. Maple Street Biscuit Company, a breakfast and brunch restaurant at 11925 Southern Blvd., was one of 16 Maple Street locations that closed permanently after the chain's parent company sold 35 other locations to Biscuit Belly. The Palm Beach Post reported the closure in late July 2026. Nothing has been announced for that space yet. For now, the Village Shoppes has picked up morning business on Southern Boulevard while that address sits empty.
The Grocery That Doubles as a Restaurant
El Bodegón #7 opened in December 2024, so it isn't a longtime tenant either. The store sells fresh produce and has meat, seafood and dairy counters, plus a bakery. Its in-store Latin American restaurant serves empanadas, arepas, ceviche, churrasco and fried mojarra. It's open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
That makes El Bodegón the plaza's longest-running kitchen of the day, opening three hours before Guaca Go. When the Post covered the opening, it described the bakery counter and the café for full meals. You can pick up groceries and eat a sit-down churrasco lunch on the same trip.
Lunch and Dinner Filled In This Year
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen came first. The village held a ribbon-cutting at Suite 11, near Burlington, with Mayor Jeff Hmara and Councilwoman Jan Rodusky, and the Town-Crier ran the photo in February 2026.
Guaca Go opened on September 16, which was National Guacamole Day, with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting. Fab Nunez and Jessie Sequeira own and run the Unit 190 franchise. They also own Guaca Go Tequesta, which opened earlier this year. The Royal Palm Beach store is their second Guaca Go and the brand's fourth in Palm Beach County. The owners said Tequesta showed them "exactly what this community responds to: fresh food, real hospitality and a brand that shows up for its neighborhood."
The menu covers bowls, burritos, salads and build-your-own orders. Guacamole is mashed to order in front of you, and the ingredients are described as gluten-free, vegan-friendly and seed-oil-free. It's open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. WPTV covered the opening the same day.
Guaca Go and El Bodegón both close at 8 p.m. For now, that's the latest posted closing time among the plaza's food tenants.
What Arrives Around December
Natural Blends Nutrition Cafe has filed permits for Suite 180. Owner Robert Bryan told What Now Miami the cafe will likely open around the first of December, depending on how permitting goes. It will share a building with Guaca Go and Popeyes.
The company started in Greenacres at 3919 S. Jog Road around 2016, then opened in Boynton Beach and later on South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. The menu centers on smoothies, juices and organic acai bowls, plus sandwiches like a chicken pesto melt and a spicy chicken melt. If you live in western Royal Palm Beach, this is the first Natural Blends that doesn't require a drive east.
Planet Fitness is already one of the plaza's listed tenants, which puts a smoothie bar and a gym in the same parking lot once the cafe opens.
The Rest of the Village Moved More Slowly
Outside this plaza, Royal Palm Beach's 2026 dining changes came one at a time, at different addresses:
- Domenic's & Vinnie's of Palm Beach, 11452 Okeechobee Blvd., held its grand opening by April. It's an Italian restaurant serving Connecticut-style pizza and scratch-made comfort food.
- Euroland, 511 N. State Road 7 in the Commons at Royal Palm, opened in late December, according to a Town-Crier story published in January 2026. It's a European food market with a crêpe bar, hot and cold buffets, a bakery and coffee bar, and sit-down dining.
- Lynora's Italian Restaurant is planned for 580 N. State Road 7. Owner Angelo Abbenante has described a full-service restaurant with a bar, patio, private-event room and house-made pasta. In January, the target was October or November 2026. In March, a separate report said June. The village Planning and Zoning agenda for June 15, 2026 listed the restaurant's request for exterior architectural approval. No opening has been confirmed as of October 1.
- Maple Street Biscuit Company, 11925 Southern Blvd., closed in summer 2026, and no replacement has been named.
Over the same nine months, the Village Shoppes added three food tenants and scheduled a fourth. Lynora's, by comparison, has moved from a projected opening date to a design review and is still waiting on a confirmed opening. If you're keeping track of what's new in Royal Palm Beach dining, 10101 Southern Blvd. had the most activity this year.
